Abstract
Formulas are derived to calculate with acute approximation, formulas that allow numerical evaluation of double integrals and triple integrals on flat two-dimensional surfaces, by means of measurements of the integrating function values, taken in a grid that is plotted in the plane. The method is analogous to that used to derive Simpson's formula for a simple integral.
