Main Article Content
Abstract
In this paper the behavior of the road infrastructure of logistics corridors in Colombia is modeled using system dynamics to assess the impact of investment policies carried out in the paved road network. Five categories are considered for assessing the quality of the paved road network as defined by the Instituto Nacional de Vías y Transporte (INVÍAS). The model contains parameters for evaluatingroad wearbased on average traffic and the investments made for road rehabilitation and maintenance.
